A new week is an opportunity to trust God again, surrender your plans to Him, and believe that He can make a way where there seems to be no way. Whatever happened last week does not have to determine what happens this week. God is still able to bring success, open doors, provide opportunities, and give you the strength to keep moving forward.

If you are believing God for progress in your career, business, finances, family, studies, ministry, or personal life, take time today to pray and commit the week into His hands.

This Prayer for Today 5th October 2026 is centered on asking God for success, breakthrough, wisdom, favor, open doors, protection, and strength throughout the week. As you pray, remember that success is not only about receiving what you want. It is also about walking according to God’s will and having His peace as you move forward.

Psalm 90:17 (KJV): “And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us.”

May God establish the work of your hands this week and give you reasons to testify of His goodness.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for bringing me into a new week. Thank You for the gift of life, for Your mercy, and for the opportunities that are ahead of me. Please go before me and make this week fruitful and successful.
Lord, I commit this week into Your hands. Let everything concerning me be guided by Your wisdom, and let my decisions lead me towards progress, peace and success.
Father, let this be a week of breakthrough for me. Open doors that no one can shut and make a way for me where I have seen no way forward.
Lord, remove every obstacle standing between me and the opportunities You have prepared for me. Give me the strength and wisdom to overcome every challenge I encounter this week.
Father, bless the work of my hands this week. Let my efforts produce good results, and let the things I work on move forward instead of remaining stagnant.
Lord, give me unusual favour wherever I go this week. Let the right people notice me, remember me, recommend me and give me opportunities that will move my life forward.
Father, I ask for success in the things I have committed to this week. Help me to remain focused, disciplined and consistent until I see the results I am trusting You for.
Lord, let every day of this week bring me closer to my goals. Give me clarity about what I should pursue, what I should avoid and where I should invest my time and energy.
Father, open doors of employment, business, contracts, partnerships and opportunities that will bring positive change into my life. Let good news locate me this week.
Lord, where I have experienced repeated disappointment, let this week bring a different result. Turn my waiting into testimony and my expectation into celebration.
Father, give me wisdom to recognise opportunities when they come. Do not allow fear, confusion or hesitation to make me miss what You have placed before me.
Lord, connect me with people who will genuinely support my growth. Bring trustworthy, wise and helpful people into my path this week.
Father, let every effort I make this week receive Your blessing. Multiply the results of my labour and help me accomplish more than I thought possible.
Lord, give me strength when I feel tired and courage when I feel discouraged. Help me not to give up before my breakthrough comes.
Father, I pray against every form of delay that has kept me from moving forward. Let what has been held back begin to move in my favour this week.
Lord, bless me with financial breakthrough. Provide for my needs, increase my resources and give me wisdom to manage everything You place in my hands.
Father, let unexpected opportunities come my way this week. May I receive calls, messages, invitations and offers that bring me closer to the life I am praying for.
Lord, give me favour in places where I have no influence. Let people speak well of me and let doors open for me even when I am not present to ask.
Father, protect me from making costly mistakes this week. Give me discernment and help me to recognise the difference between a good opportunity and a harmful distraction.
Lord, let this week be better than the previous one. May I experience progress in areas where I have been praying, working and waiting for change.
Father, restore every opportunity I have lost that is according to Your will for my life. Give me another chance where another chance is needed, and help me make the most of it.
Lord, let my name be remembered for good. When opportunities arise, let my name come to the minds of the right people.
Father, give me favour in my workplace, business, studies and every responsibility You have entrusted to me. Let my work speak for me and produce excellent results.
Lord, remove every spirit of fear and self-doubt that makes me question my ability to succeed. Help me to walk confidently in the gifts and abilities You have given me.
Father, give me creative ideas and practical wisdom this week. Show me solutions to problems and help me see possibilities where others only see difficulties.
Lord, let every meeting, conversation and connection I have this week work together for my good. Lead me into relationships that bring growth, wisdom and opportunity.
Father, where I have been overlooked, let me be considered. Where I have been rejected, let me receive another opportunity. Where I have been forgotten, let me be remembered.
Lord, bless me with breakthroughs that will bring peace rather than unnecessary trouble. Give me success that is good for me and aligned with Your purpose for my life.
Father, let no challenge this week be strong enough to stop me. Give me grace to overcome setbacks and continue moving forward with confidence.
Lord, I pray that this week will bring answers to prayers I have carried for a long time. Let something I have been waiting for finally begin to happen.
Father, bless my finances, my work, my relationships and my plans. Let there be visible evidence of Your goodness in different areas of my life this week.
Lord, give me the discipline to do what needs to be done. Help me not to procrastinate, waste time or allow distractions to take me away from my priorities.
Father, let me experience progress even in areas where I thought nothing could change. Surprise me with the ways You can turn difficult situations around.
Lord, protect every opportunity You give me this week. Do not allow confusion, bad decisions or wrong relationships to destroy what You are helping me build.
Father, let doors of greater opportunity open for me. Take me beyond survival and help me enter a season where I can grow, build, give and make a meaningful difference.
Lord, give me the courage to take the right steps this week. When You open a door, help me walk through it without allowing fear to hold me back.
Father, let good news reach me before this week ends. Give me testimonies that will remind me that You have not forgotten me.
Lord, turn my efforts into results, my ideas into opportunities and my opportunities into meaningful progress. Let this week not pass without something significant changing for the better.
Father, I declare that I will not be defeated by the challenges of this week. I will have wisdom for every decision, strength for every task and grace for every situation.
